Homeless campaigners have described figures, which show the number of people living in emergency accommodation hit over ten thousand for the first time, as ‘unacceptable and deeply shocking’.
Yesterday the Department of Housing confirmed 6,480 adults and 3,784 children were living in emergency accommodation in February.
