The Health Minister has confirmed that he will meet with a Clare man, who’s fighting terminal cancer, following his campaign for more accountability from the HSE.
48-year-old John Wall, a father of three from Quin is entitled to a medical card without a means test as his stage four prostate cancer is certified as incurable.

But his card has been cancelled twice, prompting him to mount a campaign online and in the media calling for more transparency from the HSE.
Minister Simon Harris has now contacted him directly to arrange a meeting and John says they’ll discuss the issues that led to his campaign.
