Clare familes are being urged to avail of the free preschool year initiative while there’s still time.
The deadline for the government’s Early Childcare and Education scheme for children born between February 2nd, 2005 and June 30th, 2006 has been extended until January 29th in light of the disruption caused by the freezing weather.
Applications are made through participating chilcare services like those covered by the Clare County Childcare committee and local Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley says it’s important that all parents avail of the assistance on offer
