Ennis Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a crash over the weekend which has left a truck driver in a serious condition in hospital.
The accident happened at around 6 am last Saturday morning when the injured man’s truck went out of control and jacknifed on the Clare Galway Border at Bunnahow on the N18.
The contents of the vehicle were strewn across a wide area of the road adding to traffic delays and a crane had to be used to help remove the vehicle
The driver of the truck is being treated at University Hospital in Galway, where his condition as been described as critical
Gardai at Ennis and Crusheen are appealing for witnesses to the accident.
