Tests are being carried out to try to identify the body of a man discovered in County Clare.
It’s believed the remains may be those of missing man Francie Greene.
The 48 year old was last seen near his apartment on Hartstonge Street in Limerick in November.
Gardai in Limerick are working with Mr Greene’s family to try to identify the remains.
It is understood Mr Greene may have been forcibly taken from his home on November 28th
A 27-year-old man was later questioned over his disappearance and was suspected of falsely imprisoning the missing man.
He was released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
