There’s a warm welcome for funding at St. Coleman’s National School in New Quay with news that a new heating system is on the way.
The Department of Education has allocated funds to the Burren school allowing it to proceed with small-scale capital works, which will allow for the heating system to be upgraded.
Local TD and Minister Tony Killeen says the Building Unit of the Department of Education and Science will be in contact with the school authorities shortly in relation to the amount of funding approved.
