The Department of Education has praised a learning centre for young adults and school leavers in Ennis
In it’s report, the Department commends The Ennis Youthreach Progression Centre for it’s positive standing in the community and the standard of the building while the commitment of staff is also noted.
The report was made following an inspection of the facility at the Clonroad Business Park in the town.
While a number of recommendations were made towards improving services, County Clare VEC which runs the centre says many of these have already been implemented.
Co-ordinator with Ennis Youthreach Eddie Keane believes the report vindicates the need for adult education.
