It’s hoped new walking routes for tourists in North Clare will lead to a much needed economic boost in the area.
Clare Coastal Walks, which includes the Burren Way, has been allocated over 180 thousand euro in funding to develop 12 kilometres of walkways betweeen Doolin and Hag’s Head.
Minister for Tourism, Mary Hanafin who announced the funding said the money will be used to upgrade key tourist attractions in a bid to help tourists enjoy their visitor experience to the utmost.
