Ennis is to be given a boost with confirmation that a new playground is to be built in the town.
Ennis Town Council has signed a contract for the provision of playground facilities at Tim Smythe Park in Clare’s county town – the 209,000 facility is scheduled to be open on time for the June Bank Holiday weekend.
The playground will consist of of play areas for children under the age of 12, as well as a teen play area and an exercise area for adults.
The development has been welcomed by Mayor of ennis, Councillor Tommy Brennan
