The Group appointed by the receiver to run The Clare Inn says the hotel’s future is absolutely secure and there are no plans to cut jobs.
The Dromoland based hotel which was part of the Clare Based Lynch Group went into receivership last week due to difficulties in securing working capital lead to fears for the future of the 60 employees but Dalate Managment Services says its business as usual.
Meanwhile it’s also business as usual at the West County Hotel in Ennis, where the Lynch Hotel Group remains in control of the premises, despite the appointment of a receiver.
Declan McDonald of PricewaterhouseCoopers was appointed Receiver and Manager of the West County by Allied Irish Banks on January 28th but Clare FM understands that Michael B Lynch is still running the well known Ennis hotel.
