Clare car sales continued their growth in the month of May, but by figures which don’t match the national average
New figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show 208 new cars were registered in the county last month, five more than the same period last year.
However, this four per cent growth is much smaller than the national average which has seen car sales grow by over 10%.
Just over 1600 new cars have been sold in Clare in the first five months of 2011, 10 per cent higher than for the same time frame in 2010.
