Excellence in design and construction across County Clare will be honoured tonight with the staging of the 2011 Clare Design and Conservation Awards.
The awards aim to raise public awareness of good design and sustainable building practice in premises across the county.
A number of awards will be presented tonight, including best single home in both a rural and town/village setting, best commercial building and best innovation.
Entries to the awards scheme were assessed by an independent judging panel ahead of tonight’s ceremony at Glór in Ennis.
