The spirit of the visit of Muhammad Ali to Ennis two years ago is to be invoked today at a major seminar for students in the town.
The event at Glór will encourage people to ‘be the best you can be’ and is being organised by Ennis Town Council in conjunction with Clare Youth Services.
A number of speakers will address those who attend, among them cystic fibrosis campaigner Orla Tinsley, former Ireland rugby international Alan Quinlan and Ian Taylor, the youngest Irishman to climb Mount Everest.
Upwards of 500 second year students are expected to attend.
