As traders prepare for the last weekend of Christmas Shopping, there’s good news for local retailers in Clare.
Shop local initiatives are continuing in towns like Kilrush and Ennistymon this weekend, and in Ennis- where shopping will be car free for much of tomorrow- and now a new survey suggests that almost half of us WILL be shopping close to home for our gifts.
The online poll on the clare-dot-fm website reveals that 47% of those surveyed will do most of their Christmas shopping here in Clare, 6% will shop in Galway while 12% are heading to Limerick.
12% of those who took part said they by most of their presents online.
