It’s expected a rally being held this evening in Co. Cavan for the bankrupt businessman Sean Quinn and his family will attract an even bigger crowd then the first demonstration, which was held last July.

The Concerned Irish Citizens Group says it expect the turnout for this evening’s rally in Ballyconnoll to surpass 5,000.

Sean Quinn – the former Head of the Quinn Group – his son Sean Junior and nephew Peter Darragh Quinn have been before the High Court in recent months in relation to debts – worth over two billion euro, owed to the IBRC, formerly known as Anglo Irish Bank.

In July, many high profile people, including Fr Brian D’Arcy and Tyrone football manager Mickey Harte spoke at the rally.
