A man in his forties has died after he was stabbed at an apartment in Cavan town last night.
The attack happened at Connolly Court on Connolly Street at around eleven o’clock.
The victim’s body remains at scene this morning – and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
A full forensic examination is expected to take place shortly.
