5 men have been arrested after an incident in Ennis this evening in which three cars were damaged including a Garda patrol vehicle.
The incident occured at the Maid Of Erin Roundabout in Ennis at approximatly 6pm this evening
Its understood that two people were injured in the incident and have been taken to hospital for treatment
Gardai have confirmed that 5 men ranging in ages from late teen’s to 40’s have been arrested on road traffic offenses ,public order offenses as well as possession of offensive weapons
Gardai remain at the scene and diversions are expected to be lifted in the next hour (10pm).
