Concerns expressed over “air time” ahead of Children’s Referendum

The Referendum Commission is raising concerns of a low voter turnout in the upcoming Children’s Rights Referendum.

The Commission – which is launching its public information campaign today – believes there hasn’t been enough air-time given to covering the proposed constitutional amendment.

A guide to the Children’s Rights Referendum – drawn up by the Commission – will be distributed to just over 2 million homes in the State over the next 10 days.
