The Transport Minister says an announcement on the separation of Shannon Airport from the DAA will be made next month.
Minister Leo Varadkar says he is pleased with the progress being made on the overhaul of Clare’s international airport, and says an announcement will be made in the coming weeks, pending cabinet approval.
Local Councils and business groups have called for the government to press ahead with the separation of plans for Shannon as a matter of urgency, and today Minister Leo Varadkar told Clare FM he’s fully aware of this need.
He’s also optimistic that the plans will be of great benefit to Clare.
