The Taoiseach says neither the Government nor any of his Ministers are seeking a new report into the site of the National Children’s Hospital.
Amid denials of a rift between the coalition parties on the location – it’s reported today an approach has been made to former Dublin City Manager John Fitzgerald for advice.
Enda Kenny says the final decision on the site of the NCH will be made by the Cabinet and announced within the next two weeks based on the Dolphin report.
However he says it is right and proper that questions about aspects of the Dolphin report are asked by the Department of Health and the Minister in an informal way:
