Shannon Airport has strengthened it’s environmental credentials by achieving a new and improved carbon footprint rating under European aviation standards.
Clare’s international has reduced it’s CO2 emissions by 10% in the last year, seeing it achieve the ‘reduction’ level, the second of four standards under a Europe-wide airport carbon management programme.
It’s estimated that aviation produces around 2% of the world’s manmade CO2 emissions.
