Clare will receive a maximum of 55 thousand euro under the government’s fund to assist with the planning of local events for The Gathering.
The government has announced a 2 million euro fund for to support events and gatherings while have the capacity to attract overseas visitors, with half of the money coming from IPB Insurance.
The money will be dispersed nationally, and it’s been confirmed that Clare will receive no more than 55,000 euro to support up to three flagship events across the county.
