An Post has been urged to act swiftly and ensure the people of Broadford and it’s surrounding areas are not left without postal services for long.
The post office in the East Clare village closed without notice last Friday, on a temporary basis, with customers now being catered for in Tulla.
An Post has told Clare FM that the closure is due to circumstances beyond it’s control, and are unable to say at this stage when it will re-open.
East Clare Councillor Joe Cooney says a lot of people have been inconvenienced by the development.
