Two of Clare’s brightest students are being honoured by former US President Bill Clinton today.
President Clinton has flown into Shannon Airport for today’s All Ireland Scholarship event, being held at the University of Limerick.
The 42nd President of the United States will present bursaries, sponsored by JP McManus, to 125 students from the 32 counties of Ireland.
Among the recipients are Parteen’s Dylan Carroll, who sat his Leaving Certificate at Gaelcholaiste Luimnigh and Alicia von Metzradt, a student of St. Patrick’s Comprehensive in Shannon.
