Residents in Broadford say they’re hopeful that post office services can be restored to the East Clare village.
Broadford Post Office closed without notice in recent weeks, a move which local say has caused upset and ‘severe hardship.’
They held a meeting with An Post officials yesterday, during which they were told that the company is working on the matter at the moment, and expect to be in a position to make a decision in the coming weeks.
