Drinking water restrictions imposedon the Spancill hill/Clooney Group Water Scheme for the past six weeks, have now been lifted.
The boil notice was issued by Clare County Council on October 31st on foot of advice from the HSE amid concerns over localised contamination to the supply.
However after repeated testing and the all clear from the Health Service Executive , the local authority says householders can now resume normal use of the water for drinking, food preperation and dental hygiene.
