21 Clare communities are set to play host over 70 events for The Gathering.
The year-long event will see hundreds of special festivals throughout the country, some of which were announced at a function in Dublin last night.
The Gathering also lists a total of 72 registered events in Clare, focussed in particular on Ennis and on the West of the county.
Organisers of The Gathering are hoping to attract an extra 300,000 visitors to Ireland next year.
