Parents, guardians and grandparents across Clare are today being urged to check that their child’s car seat is fitted correctly.
The Road Safety Authority in conjuction with Clare County Council is holding a special road show on the issue in Ennis with experts on hands to double check baby and toddler seats to see if their fittted correctly and indeed if they are fit for purpose.
Research conducted at previous such events revealed that 3 out of 4 parents wern’t installing the seats properly which could lead to a serious or even fatal injury if there’s a crash.
Today’s event is being held in the Lidi CarPark on teh Gort Road from 12 until 6 .
