People across the county are being urged to celebrate sensibly this festive season and to leave the car behind if they’re planning to take a drink or two.
Schools have now broken up for the winter break and while Christmas Eve is a working day many people will have taken it off so they can make any last minute preperations ahead of the 25th.
Others are taking to the roads to be with friends and family over the coming days and this year the Road Safety Authority’s campaign is focusing on spinal cord injuries and brain damaged caused during collisions.
