Limerick HMV staff stage sit in

Staff at two HMV stores in Limerick have staged sit-in protests overnight over fears that their wages will not be paid.

The retailer’s Irish operations went into receivership yesterday – meaning 16 stores across Ireland are to temporarily close.

An administrator was appointed to the parent company of HMV in the UK on Monday.
