Snowy conditions in London and Paris have caused Aer Lingus to cancel six round-trip flights today – but the airline says it will accommodate all affected passengers on other flights.

The cancelled flights are on routes between Shannon-Flights EI 384 and 385 from the midwest-along with Dublin, Cork, Belfast and Heathrow; and one between Dublin and Charles de Gaulle in Paris.

Bosses at Heathrow airport in London are defending the decision to cancel 260 flights today because of the weather.

Snow has started to fall again and it’s causing visibility problems.
