The new President of Shannon Chamber of Commerce says he’s confident the new arrangements for Shannon Airport and the Shannon Free Zone will be of wider benefit.
Kevin Thompstone, head of The Thompstone Group, says the renewed focus on the now independent airport will allow for innovation, which he’s confident will help in it’s recovery.
The former CEO of Shannon Development believes the changes in the agency’s roles ‘will have an impact’ on development work in the region.
However, Mr. Thompstone feels the moves are positive for Clare and the Midwest.
