Ennis’ newest stretch of roadway should finally be officially named by this evening!.
The town’s local councillors have so far failed in their efforts to agree on a name for the section of the town’s Inner Relief route which opened late last year.
Among the names in the running are Old Gaol Road- given its proximity to the old county jail; Bother na Rince- as its adjacent to Paddy Con’s Ballroom and Muhammad Ali Road in honour of the town’s most famous Free Man.
