Local representatives have offered their condolences to the family of a popular Clare County Council employee who died suddenly last week.
Margaret Duggan, of Ballymaguigan, Ennis passed away unexpectedly on Thursday and was laid to rest following funeral mass in Barefield on Sunday.
Mrs. Duggan worked for Clare County Council for 35 years, in the areas of Human Resources, Housing and, most recently, at the offices of Ennis Town Council.
She’s survived by her husband, Liam and their three children.
Last evening’s meeting of Clare County Council was adjourned as a mark of respect with Mayor of Clare Councillor Pat Daly leading the expressions of sympathy.
