Loop Head Peninsula has made into the final five vying for the title of Best Place to Holiday in Ireland.
In the competition, run by the Irish Times, the West Clare coastal attraction beat off up 14 hundred other entries to make it to the final stages.
The other finalists still in the running to be named Ireland’s favourite holiday spot are Derry city, Co Derry; Inishbofin, Co Galway; Killarney, Co Kerry; and the Glen of Aherlow, Co Tipperary.
The overall winner will be announced next Monday.
