Clare’s Fianna Fail TD is calling for an investigation into allegations about Ryanair’s safety record.
The allegations were aired in a recent documentary on Channel Four which Ryanair strongly denied.
Timmy Dooley, his party’s spokesperson on Transport, has now written to the Chairman of the Oireachtas Committee on Transport seeking further investigation into the reports on fuel policies and safety procedures.
He says Ryanair is ‘one of Irelands great business success stories’, and believes such a company could be put at risk by the allegations in the documentary
