Clare’s car industry is continuing to show a recovery, following the introduction of the 132 registration plates.
65 new vehicles were sold here last month, a 25% increase on the same month last year.
It’s also the highest level of car sales recorded in the month of August since 2010.
So far this year, nearly 1300 new cars have been sold by Clare’s car dealers.
