Two men were arrested at an anti-war protest in Shannon Airport yesterday.
Gardai say the two men were arrested in the terminal building, having allegedly breached airport byelaws, though they were released without charge after being taken to Shannon Garda Station.
Around 40 people attended yesterday’s demonstration at Shannon, marking the 12th anniversary of US troops entering Afghanistan.
