There’s mixed news for Shannon airport in figures released by The Irish Aviation Authority.
While Clare’s international airport has seen commercial traffic growing by 1.8 per cent in November, the total number of flights is down 1.7 per cent for the full year so far.
The data also revealed that good performances in recent months have reversed earlier negative trends and the IAA is now predicting that, for the full year 2013, air traffic growth in all areas will be largely flat against 2012.
