Gardai are investigating the discovery of a body in Ballynacally this morning.
Gardai in Kilrush were notified that a body was found face down on the ground at Ballynacally Community centre at around 9:45 this morning.
It’s believed the man, who was in his mid sixties, was from the Kilmaley area and had been socializing in a pub in Ballynacally last night.
His car was parked nearby
The Deputy State Pathologist Margaret Bolster is due to carry out a post mortem this evening to establish the cause of death
Anyone who was in the area socializing last night, or who may have seen the deceased man is asked to contact Kilrush Garda Station on 9080550
