Clare Gardai are urging motorists to put away their mobile phones when driving this bank holiday weekend.
Officers will be out in force across the county to ensure that all drivers are behaving in an appropriate manner.
Gardai insist that the roads will be busier over the bank holiday weekend and that extra caution is needed.
