The European Union has extended its first set of sanctions against the separatists and Russia, over the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
It comes after rebels loyal to Moscow rejected truce talks with Kiev last week.
The unrest's continued for nearly a year – killing thousands and forcing some families in Donetsk into underground shelters.
