The Government delay in allocating this year's disability grants has been labelled "ridiculous" by one Clare County Councillor.
Barefield-based Councillor Ann Norton is calling on the local authority to liaise with the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to speed up the process.
Clare County Council says it hasn't yet been notified of its allowance for schemes covering adaptations for people with disabilities but is expecting an announcement to be made shortly.
