Clare’s top under 21 talent take to the field in championship semi finals

Sporting eyes will be on south Clare today for hurling fans as the county’s top U 21 talent takes to the fields of Shannon and Newmarket for the semi finals of the coutny championship.

 

Clonlara take on Eire Og in Newmarket at 1pm aiming to reach their second final in three years while the Ennis side are hoping to cap an impressive campaign with an appearance in the decider later this month.

 

Elsewhere and defending champions Sixmilebridge take on old rivals Clarecastle in Shannon.

 

Clarecastle beat Broadford O Callaghan’s Mills in their q-final to set up the meeting this afternoon.
