Two of the county’s finest pool talents are headed to Blackpool this weekend to compete in the World Eight-Ball Championships.
Eoin Collins and Gearoid Carkill will both compete as part of the ireland Under-18 team in the event which begins on Saturday – they are the first Clare juniors to qualify for the team for seven years.
Ennis native David Duggan, himself a former World Champion, is part of the Irish management team for the event
