Athenry’s Paul Hession could only manage sixth in the 200m final, while David Gillick was fifth in the final of the 400m.
The winning time was slower than the fastest he has ran this year, while he was just .05 of a second off a medal.
Meanwhile, Finnoula Britton finished 11th in the 3000m Steeplechase.
