Leinster suffered their first home loss in three years in the Heineken Cup.

The defending champions lost 28-21 to Clermont at the Aviva to leave them in real danger of missing out on a quarter final place.

Fergus McFadden scored a late try for Leinster to earn a bonus point.

Shane Jennings got their first try while Wesley Fofana touched down for Clermont.

Morgan Parra produced a masterclass of goal kicking to end the day with 23 points and send Clermont 8 points clear at the top of pool 5.

Leinster are on 10 points with two games left – they’re home to the Scarlets and away to Exeter.

Exeter beat the Scarlets by 30 points to 20 today.
