There are no plans to deliver affordable housing for county Clare until 2025 at the earliest.
Documentation from Housing Minister Darragh O’ Brien, seen by Clare FM, says Clare County Council intends to deliver 131 affordable houses in this county before the end of 2026.

It’s emerged the local authority has ‘not made formal applications’ to the Department of Housing in respect of two potential affordable schemes available to them.
Chair of Clare County Council’s Housing Committee, Councillor Gerry Flynn, says the news is very disappointing.
