A public meeting is due to take place this evening over the planned redevelopment of the Abbey Street carpark which is the first project of the Ennis 2040 DAC programme. A number of Ennis traders are opposed to the redevelopment of the Abbey Street carpark as they fear it would negatively effect businesses in the town. Pat Flynn was joined by John O’Connor of Custy’s Music Shop in Ennis and William Cahir of Cahir & Co. Solicitors to discuss the situation.
The public meeting is set to take place on Thursday the 4th of May at 6:30pm in the main hall of the Temple Gate hotel in Ennis.
