Wins for NOF,Inagh-K Tubber,Mills and Ballyea in championship

There were wins today for Newmarket, Inagh Kilnamona, Tubber,O Callaghan’s Mills and Ballyea in the county senior championship.

The defending champions endured a major scare from Kilmaley before squeezing past by a single point 1-13 to 1-12.

In a tense affair in Cusack park the sides were level at 1-6 each at the break and Kilmaley led by two entering the final minutes but a brace of points from Colin Ryan helped Newmarket to edge the encounter.

Inagh Kilnamona beat Cratloe by 1-18 to 2-12 in the second game in Cusack park.
 
They led by 1-9 to 0-09 at the break-Conor Tierney’s opening goal giving them the advanatge but Cratloe through Conor Mc Grath scored twice in the second half bu Ithe Combo held on for the win.

Also in the A championship

Tubber beat Tulla by  3-16 to 1-14

In the b championship :

Ballyea overcame Braodford by 2-18 to 0-12 while O callaghan’s Mills recorded a 1-17 to 0-9 win over Smith O brien’s

In the county intermediate championship

In Gurteen it finished  Sixmilebridge 1-15 Whitegate 1-15  and

Crusheen 0-8 Ogonnelloe beat Crusheen by 0-14 to 0-08.

Newmarket recorded a big win over Killanena wining by  4-21 to 1-5.

In Ogonnelloe Feakle recorded a 3-17 to 3-12 win over Parteen.
Corofin beat Ennistymon by 1-14 to 0-16 in Clarecastle thanks to a late Damien Ryan goal and Meelick beat Clarecastle by  2-16 to 1-18
